Figures from the Bank of England have shown further cut backs from mortgage lenders despite assurances to the contrary. With thousands of potential borrowers finding it harder than ever to get a mortgage through well known lenders private banks may offer a possible solution. Clients with complicated income streams or who rely on bonuses or share portfolios but with relatively low basic salaries for example may find that high street banks are reluctant to lend but they may be able to get funding from a private bank.
